February is National Heart Health Month

At least 48% of all adults in the United States have some form of cardiovascular disease, according to the latest statistics provided by the American Heart Association. Much of the prevalence is driven by an increase in the number of people classified as having high blood pressure. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men & women in the United States, claiming more than 840,000 lives a year.

The Temple Health Heart Scan is a $0 Cost Benefit for eligible Participants once every 3 years.

Men 40+ and women 50+

What does a heart scan look for? Calcification buildup around the heart and identifies your risk for a cardiac event such as a heart attack, stroke, etc.
